Flat New Look. After Central Perspective

Eva Hegge teaches at the Institut für Kunst und Kunsttheorie at the University of Cologne and writes prose. In her PhD project with the working title Flat New Look. After Central Perspective, she explores physically, pragmatically and spatially 'flat' aesthetic tendencies and strategies in contemporary art as a symptom of postdigital imagery following central perspective, in fact burying its remains. Her research is exploring a visual situation beyond spectatorship.
